Newsletter Sign Up
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a few reasons: to tell you about information you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with any other organisations or businesses.

You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing Management at management@etkosportsacademy.co.uk
People who contact us via Social Media
We use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube and also a third-party provider, Hootsuite, to manage our social media interactions. If you send us a private or direct message via social media, specifically through Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, the message will be stored by Hootsuite for three months. Users of our Services
When you use ETKO Sports Academy, we collect information relating to you and your use of our services from a variety of sources. As part of the registration process for our programmes and memberships, we collect personal information. We use that information for a few reasons: to keep you up to date with information you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with any other organisations or businesses.

User of our services who are requested to compete, will be required to become members of Scottish Gymnastics or British Wrestling. For more information please see their privacy notices.
Information we collect directly from You
Personal and Sensitive Personal Information
The information we collect primarily will include personal information such as; name, address, email address, phone number, age, sex, medical information including information on physical / mental disability. The information we hold on children under the age of 16 will be held only on the authorisation from a legal parent / guardian.
For recruitment purposes, we may also collect sensitive information including; nationality, ethnicity, religious or political beliefs or associations, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, national insurance number, educational, criminal, employment history, references and personal views except those about other individuals.
You can unsubscribe or deactivate your registration to our services by unsubscribing through our third-party services or by contacting our admin team at admin@etkosportsacademy.co.uk

At ETKO Sports Academy we will only retain your personal data where deemed necessary to provide the services to which you have registered for. At your request or if you no longer use our services, unless you have requested us not to, we will delete all personal data within 1 year that we no longer have a legitimate reason to retain.
We are required to retain sufficient personal data about you, in the event of an insurance claim which may occur in the future, in order that we can identify you and confirm that you were a user of our services for the period stated.

All Emails and Information related to our services are compulsory for all our members registered to our programmes. This is to ensure that everyone receives consistent information about our services. You will not receive promotional emails or newsletters unless you have subscribed to do so.

• particular care is taken care of portable ICT equipment, memory sticks etc. which are password protected to prevent unauthorised access.
• sensitive data is not kept on memory sticks or routinely taken from the premises of ETKO Sports Academy on any form of removable media however it may be accessed remotely by staff who work off site.
