Your use of our facilities, equipment and services is subject to agreement to the following:
(1) HEALTH & SAFETY
1.1. I confirm that I do not have any symptoms related to and have not been knowingly exposed to COVID-19.
1.2. I confirm that I have not returned from overseas in the past 14 days.
1.3. I confirm that I have not knowingly been in close personal contact with a confirmed or probable COVID-19 case.
1.4. If the above status changes, I agree not to visit ETKO Sports Academy (including outdoor sessions) for at least 14 days. I agree to inform you immediately and also agree that I will not make any further visits until cleared to do so by a medical professional.
(2) HAND HYGIENE
I agree to wash my hands thoroughly with soap and water for no less than 20 seconds or sanitise my hands with an approved alcohol-based hand sanitiser, when I arrive and leave.
(3) PHYSICAL DISTANCING
3.1. I agree to maintain the physical distancing requirements as set out by the Scottish Government within each phase and follow floor signage and instructional signage.
(4) MEMBER SAFETY
4.1. I understand that ETKO Sports Academy team members will require extra time and access to clean down/disinfect equipment before and after use and I realise that session timings may be affected by this.
4.2. I agree to wipe down equipment and sanitise my hands when moving between stations.
4.2. I agree not to enter areas that may be closed off from member use.
4.3. I agree to arrive dressed and ready for exercise and understand there may be no access to changing rooms.
4.5. I agree to arrive and leave promptly for my booked session, using the designated entry/exit points and following the one-way system.
4.6 I understand that I may be asked to wear a face covering or other PPE when accessing the building, in line with Scottish Government guidance at the time.
(5) ATTENDANCE
5.1 I understand that ETKO Sports Academy needs to retain records of attendance to support NHS Scotland’s Test & Protect service.
5.3 I understand that no refunds or part refunds will be given for sessions if I am unable to attend due to COVID-19 symptoms or any other reasons.
5.4 If ETKO Sports Academy cancels sessions, or closes at short notice, I understand that I may be offered an online class – or catch-up sessions – in lieu of a refund.
Waiver: In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, I reaffirm the waiver I executed at the commencement of my membership with ETKO Sports Academy and assume the risk of use of ETKO Sports Academy and its facilities.
ETKO Sports Academy staff will be monitoring the facilities – maintaining cleanliness during the day, checking safe proximity between members, and encouraging members to follow good hygiene.
If a staff member or fellow ETKO Sports Academy member asks you to do one of the above, we ask that you please cooperate and do your part.

Liability Waiver:
I agree to use the apparatus, facility or service provided safely and in accordance with the instructions provided. It is hereby understood that my participation in physical exercise or training activities may involve risk, including accidents, injury, illness or even death. I agree that by participating in physical exercise or training activities, I do so entirely at my own risk.
By agreeing to this waiver, I assume full responsibility for any injuries, losses or damages to myself and/or my property. I hereby expressly agree to waive all claims against ETKO Sports Academy Ltd, its staff, instructors, or other associated individuals, for any and all injuries, claims or damages that might incur. This waiver does not exclude or limit ETKO Sports Academy’s liability in respect of any death or personal injury caused by ETKO Sport Academy’s negligence.
Acceptance:
When you book any indoor or outdoor session with ETKO Sports Academy, you’ll be confirming your agreement to the above Conditions of Entry and COVID-19 Health Questions.
