ETKO Sports Academy equipped for new partnership

ETKO Sports Academy has formed a new partnership arrangement with leading UK gymnastics equipment provider, All Rounder Gymnastics.

For the first time, the organisation’s members will be able to source a range of gymnastics equipment for home use via ETKO Sports Academy. The apparatus includes beams, bars, air tracks and mats, with ranges suited to different age groups and abilities. Samples will be available to view at ETKO Sports Academy’s purpose-built gymnasium in Oldmeldrum.

ETKO Sports Academy offers a comprehensive range of pre-school and school-age activity sessions. The company was founded in 2008 by former international gymnast Laura Etko. Its gymnastics programmes are among its most popular offerings, with over 25 classes per week for beginners through to competitive gymnasts.

“We were delighted to discover the range at All Rounder Gymnastics,” says Laura Etko, founder and director, ETKO Sports Academy. “The quality and variety of apparatus is an excellent fit with our members’ needs.

“Families often ask us for recommendations when they are looking to buy gymnastics equipment for practising skills at home. If they can view and order apparatus via ETKO Sports Academy, this will hopefully save them time while supporting the training they do with us.”

Based in Yorkshire, All Rounder Gymnastics specialises in quality gymnastics equipment for home and garden use. Established in 2011, the company’s product lines include bars, beams, mats and air tracks.

“We are excited to be involved with such a prestigious gymnastics club as ETKO,” says Chris Taylor, managing director, All Rounder. “Hopefully the high-quality gymnastics equipment we offer will enable aspiring young gymnasts to practise their skills further at home in addition to their training at ETKO.”

ETKO Sports Academy is owned and managed by former international gymnast Laura Etko and her husband Viorel (Vio), a current Veteran World Champion in wrestling and a 2014 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist. The company, which employs 25 people, is committed to helping people achieve their sporting potential and encouraging long-term participation in sport.
